gr-fosphor
Out-of-tree GNU Radio module available in GNU Radio World

gr-fosphor is a real-time spectrum-analysis display for GNU Radio designed to reveal short-lived and overlapping RF activity. It combines accelerated FFT processing with a persistent density histogram, waterfall history, live spectrum trace, and maximum-hold trace in one continuously updating view. The OpenCL and OpenGL implementation moves the demanding spectral computation and rendering onto the GPU, allowing high-rate sample streams to be explored interactively.

Example flowgraphs
These GNU Radio World examples contain one or more blocks from gr-fosphor.
- PSK Tx with Constellation8PSK with added noise, adjustable via range widget
- Fosphor Spectrum and WaterfallInteractive real-time spectrum and waterfall display using gr-fosphor. A complex tone mixed with noise demonstrates fosphor's persistent color-density spectrum, live trace, and max hold. The browser uses WebGPU when available and automatically falls back to Qt 6 CPU plots; the editor console reports which renderer was selected.
